Matt is a managing partner at GFA Financial Group, LLC. Matt was born in Waverly, Iowa but grew up in the Clearwater/Tampa area. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business administration with a major in Marketing from Central College located in Pella, Iowa. Matt holds the Series 7, Series 65, Series 63 and Life Insurance and Variable Annuity licenses and has been working with his father and mentor Terry Garvin since 2000. Matt spends a majority of his time working on financial plans, portfolio design and meeting with clients to help them meet their financial goals. With the use of a software program called Money Guide Pro, Matt is able to create, implement and track financial plans that can help turn those goals into reality. Matt resides in St. Petersburg and enjoys spending time with his two daughters Millie and Molly Kate.
